EL TORO WATER DISTRICT
APPLICATION FOR CONSTRUCTION METER

The rates for service are the regular monthly rates as set forth in Section 7030 of El Toro Water District’s Administrative Code.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS:

1. A $2,000.00 refundable deposit will be required for each meter.
2. El Toro Water District (District) reserves the right to discontinue service without notice if water is not used for 15 consecutive days.
3. The customer must notify the District when service is no longer needed. Monthly charges will continue until notice is received or service is discontinued per Condition No. 2.
4. Construction meter use must include appropriate flow control and comply with all District requirements. Applicants are not permitted to operate fire hydrants.
5. An ETWD employee will install and secure the meter to the fire hydrant. The applicant is responsible for the meter while in use and will be billed for any loss or damage beyond the deposit. Meter relocations within a project will be performed by ETWD at an established fee of $50.00 per relocation.
6. The applicant is responsible for any damage to District facilities resulting from use of the construction meter.
7. All temporary water use must comply with ETWD’s Cross-Connection Control Management Plan. Violations may result in immediate termination of service until corrected.

PERMISSION is hereby granted to use water from fire hydrant listed above at rates in effect at the time of use.
